I was looking at the New Members List which appears at the bottom of the Forum page and list new members from previous 24 hours, and yes it's quite possible there may have been a typo involved, thought that was definitely the case of the other pair of s/n's which were related in that day's list. Indeed I am hopeful there was no malice involved in their creation, not sure both names playing in a match would fool anyone here if cheating was the intent. I've seen cases where there are 3 and 4 consecutive new member s/n's which are clearly related and it might very well be that they were unaware of the rules. Typically the entertainment value is in peoples' creativity in their choices for their s/n's here. On any given day you might find humor, history or double entendres used in clever ways.
