Every time my screen refreshes pop-messages keep coming up, repeating ones, and chat messages

I was getting pop-ups from the same person the other day ..and they weren't messaging me (thought we did send a few messages earlier that day.  Seems to have gone away, but it was annoying ..for about an hour or so.

I'm working on a patch for this. In the meantime if instant notifications are repeating you can disable them via your settings / notifications page - notification of turns.

M - If you're talking about me, it might be because I had multiple windows of different games open at the same time??  (IE: playing our dev game in one window, but also had other games I was playing in the interim in other windows).

Tom - Maybe this is exacerbating the problem??

I'm pretty sure I had multiples open too.. It was really weird.

You should get the same popups appearng in every window - although that could be a useful data point for reproducing this problem, thanks.

If it helps:

I definitely get messages in each window for incoming messages, but my outgoing messages only show up in the window that I wrote them in.
Example:

M57 and I were chatting RE: a particular board.
So I would get and respond to his messages in the window that had that game open.
But I would also get his messages in all the other windows that I had open, but none of my outgoing messages showed up in those.

In the grand scheme...it doesn't bother me in the slightest, because I can keep track of the messages myself.

Still having problems with my 'Turns waiting' and pop-up game notifications.  Are you still working on this Tom, do you need any details?

Yes, it is all bundled up in the next major update which includes the new game timer. It's snowballed a bit into quite a major upgrade!
