Board DescriptionFeudal Japan Wargear This map is based on the game Shogun released in 1986 by game maker Milton Bradley as part of their Gamemaster series. Set in feudal Japan, two to eight players take control of a fictional warlord and pit their armies against one another in hopes of winning the title Shogun. RULES:
The small islands give a bonus if controlled. On the main island there are a number of citadels. Each citadel starts out as a neutral area. The citadel confers a +1 bonus to the defender. In addition control of a citadel confers a +2 army bonus.
The capital, Kyoto is designated with a star and is a separate territory. The area around Kyoto does not offer any bonus or give any modifiers. Kyoto confers a +1 bonus to the defender and in addition gives a bonus of four armies. There are three transfers. Cannot switch between transfer and attack. A D8 die is used. Gameplay Settings
