Board Description

It's a war for the European continent. There are many kingdoms, but no kings. Claim a crown, eliminate your enemies', and turn their people against them!

Castle (capital city) rules:

  • If someone captures your last (or only) Castle, YOU ARE ELIMINATED!
  • Castles attack all territories in their kingdom via artillery borders with +1 to attack & receive +1 to rolls when defending.
  • Castles grant sight through the fog to all territories except other castles.
  • Castles have a maximum unit capacity of 10 armies.
  • Castles double the bonus of their kingdom when held along with the rest of the continent -- a castle held without a complete continent does not give any bonus.
  • When a player's last Castle is captured, they are elminated, and the conquering player gains control of some of the murdered king's territories and armies.
  • You do not receive an eliminated player's cards.
  • Castles start neutral.
  • Other Rules:

  • Medium fog is on.
  • Continents give bonuses as shown by the correspondingly colored value on the map.
  • 2 Fortifies
  • No return to attack or placement.
  • Card capture is OFF.
