Board Description

Capital Islands

This map has standard territory/continent bonus structure with the small twist that there is a capital city within each of the continents. These capitals will double the continent bonus of the continent they are in.

For those unfamiliar with capital cities, when a player loses all capital cities, then the player is eliminated even if they still have control of other non-Capital City territories. Thus, be careful when deciding to take a capital. When eliminating a player by taking all of their capitals, half of their territories and units will be converted to the eliminating player.

In games with fog, the capitals also grant vision to the entire continent they are a part of.
