Board Description

Hunger Games

Each player starts with two "tributes." The last tribute (or pair from the same district) standing wins the game ..and glory for thier district.

On your first move you start with 17 units to place. Allocate them on your tributes as you see fit.

Players are allowed 13 moves (attacks) per turn. All attacks are d6 v d5.

This is a game of attrition. At the beginning of every turn, your tributes lose one of their units - with the following exceptions..

  • Each tribute that begins their turn on a water/stream hex will not lose any units.
  • The center hex in the board is an arsenal which places two units on the tribute who controls it at the beginning of their turn.
  • Cards are awarded at the end of every turn ..provided that you move at least one tribute. Cards cash for 3 units.

    Paths enable your tribute to move faster. They can move/attack two hexes when travelling on path hexes.

    There is an 8 unit elimination bonus.

    Individual tributes cannot be stronger than 20 units.
