Born in 1970. Have been playing Risk online since 2008 (Warfish, then Wargear). I've been a technician (programmer) for nearly 25 years in the Chicagoland area.

Some of my hobbies are:

• Studying history - especially American history including the Revolutionary War, our Founders, Civil War and WWs 1 & 2. I read tons of books every year.
• Golf - although my play has suffered the last 12 years or so (once I got the yips); used to have a handicap of 4/5 prior to that.
• Football - love to watch it and I always had the arm to throw 60-65 yards, but wasn't tall enough (at a bit over 5'11) and not fast enough to be a receiver to take that to a college level.
• Love reading D&D modules (though I haven't played in many years)
• Consider The Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion as one of the few true masterpieces in life - the books, that is. I enjoyed 'parts' of the movies.
• Designing new games or boards.
• An avid movie watcher and collector. I own over 4000 movies and I see 40-50 movies per year at the theater.
