I swear there was a conversation about animated cards somewhere. I can't find it. What is the status of animated gifs for cards (and map backgrounds?!)?

They won't work in the Flash Player, however they will work on the Cards page at present. I'll add to the ToDo list (from reading up on this it's kind of tricky to do).
