Something very weird happened here: http://www.wargear.net/games/player/579464
(Last active turn). It has fog, so I'm assuming only tom can see this.
After attacking, I got an error that said that the server could not complete my action. I tried again after some time, with the same problem. And then again with the same problem. Overall, I ended up losing units, without my opponent losing any. But the history says that I lost units while attacking myself. Look at 418 onwards down.
I'll post the history here:
411 | Pratik attacked Indy T2 > T1 (6,4,3) (6,5) | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
412 | Pratik attacked Indy T2 > T1 (6,5,4) (2,1) | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
413 | Pratik attacked Indy T2 > T1 (5,2,2) (6,2) | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
414 | Pratik attacked Indy T2 > T1 (6,2,1) (4,4) | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
415 | Pratik attacked Indy T2 > T1 (5,1,1) (2) | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
416 | Pratik occupied T2 > T1 with 3 units | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
417 | Pratik transferred 8 units T2 > T1 | 21 Jun 2017 6:14:3 |
418 | Pratik attacked Pratik T2 > T1 (3,1,1) (1,1) | 21 Jun 2017 6:15:21 |
419 | Pratik attacked Pratik T2 > T1 (4,4,1) (3,1) | 21 Jun 2017 6:15:21 |
420 | Pratik attacked Pratik T2 > T1 (4,2,1) (2) | 21 Jun 2017 6:15:21 |
421 | Pratik occupied T2 > T1 with 3 units | 21 Jun 2017 6:15:21 |
422 | Pratik transferred 12 units T2 > T1 | 21 Jun 2017 6:15:21 |
423 | Pratik attacked Pratik T2 > T1 (6,4,4) (4,4) | 21 Jun 2017 6:30:34 |
That is odd - I've reverted to turn 417 for you.
Thanks.
Seems like a similar thing is back. In a different game this time. http://www.wargear.net/games/player/574593
Also a different computer, in a different location (i.e. different internet connections, so it is less likely to be a problem on my side).
Just like before I got a message like this:
"Send game action failed. This could be caused by network or server problems. Please click on Retry or Cancel."
My actions are registered in the log, but the changes do not appear. My attack ending in turn 12282 should have captured the territory, but that whole "T attack" was not registered.
"Send game action fail" happened to me once here as well, but no harm done, I was able to resume my attack.
Just to clarify, I ended up replaying the same move (though with worse luck the second time), I'd rather let the game go on, and not revert anything.
But this is a recurring problem and should be looked into.
