Is there a way to remove a player you invited to a private game? We'd love for this person to join, but I'm not sure it will happen.

You could just invite additional players, then the game fills on a first come, first served basis.

On a slightly related matter...I wonder why the host has to wait three times the boot time to manually boot someone? I mean, it's a private game and scores don't count, so there is no reason for the host to take advantage of this. I bring it up mainly because all of the other earlier complications surrounding boots and skips have been tidied, and to me this is the only non-intutive one remaining.

Well, I'd be happy with manual boot at 1x turn time, but I guess there is no reason to not allowing it at anytime.
