...to knock off weakened players while avoiding other large powers?

In this game on the other site, I ran into a triumvirate of players who are just content to build and build and build units rather than attack another formidable player...even just placing units and ending their turn.

check from about event 1817 on...it just saddens me when I run across (and lose) to players to don't seem to know how to finish a game.  Oh, they have no trouble picking on a weak sister, but heaven forbid they knock off a bonus or two from their competition and piss someone off...

It makes for painfully drawn out games, but, whatever wins, man.
