In this game http://www.wargear.net/games/player/276654. On turn 199, my Greenland had 4 troops while opponent's Ontario had 3 troops. I won the attack and it should have resulted in Ontario being left with 1 troop. But instead, his troops remained 3. Instead of taking over Ontario, I was forced to keep on attacking Ontario, but lost all attacks on that round. =(

Already had a huge advantage up until that point where the bug occurred.

didn't get a card, and opponent got 5 troops on succeeding rounds due to the bug not allowing me to take over that country that turn.

I've checked the log file and it confirms what you've said so I've restarted the game from turn 199 and converted it to a regular clock (3 day boot cycle) so you can play it out.
