Anyone use plugins for Paint.NET?  I found this list in the forums, but no idea if there is one big pack that has everything I need:

Paint.Net Plugins are a must!  There are quite a few good packs I believe that get the basics (Blurs, Drop Shadows, Outlines, Grids, etc.) and I think I would sift through the Pinned ones every so often to see if there were any new good ones.  Then if I needed something specific (ie Text Direction, Optimized PNG, etc.) I'd go do an individual search for it.  A lot of the Effects I didn't really know what they did until I tried them though, for the most part it would be pretty difficult for me to recreate even my own maps very closely :P.

This one is a must!  I don't think I ever use paint.net without using one of these.
