I am having trouble saving a custom color name in the board designer.  I chnage the name and click save, but when I go back in it reverts to the original.

Anyone else have this problem?  Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah - It seems quirky to me.  Sometimes it seems like it works - and other times..

Try actually changing the color ..to the same color ..try using the return/enter key instead of just clicking somewhere else in the designer, etc..

Yeah, 90% of the time it doesn't seem to work.  Every once in a while it does.  I don't understand it either & it would be great it if worked.  

Make sure you're changing the name in the "Color Name" column and not the "Sample" column.  The Sample column is editable text, but makes no changes.

That happens to me all the time, and then I fee like an idiot when I realize what I was doing.
