My suggestion is to add notification options if you lose Championship points.  It would be nice if the notification included the name of the map and how many points you lost because someone else leapfrogged you on the board rankings.

It's a good suggestion - I've just not worked out a good way to do this. Would this be a notification that pops up either immediately on game end if you are logged in or when you return to the site (covers any ranking point changes since you last accessed the site)?

I'd like it to be a static page rather than just a pop-up notification as I tend to ignore pop-ups and it would be something that I may want to look back on in a week to try and take on some games.

Seems like it would fit in nice on the Rankings History page your your profile, perhaps an additional view for Championship Points History that would show fluctuations with Date/Time/Board Name/Board Score/Board CP/Delta/CPs, maybe even a Reason column as "Lost Game" or "Ranking Change".  Almost a mesh between the table on the Player Stats page and the Rankings History...Something along those lines is what I could see as ideal.

I second Yertle. I like the idea of being able click something on my profile to look over ranking changes.

OK I'll work up a new page to show these.

I think when I originally thought of it, I would have just been very satisfied with an e-mail notification saying 'you have lost 6 championship points on the board: Ants as a result of other public games on this map.'

That said, I think Yertle's suggestions are ideal, however deciedly harder to program.
