I'm all for folks learning this map and simulplay, but for heaven's sake, new players need to be aware of the whole map and not just what can get them a couple bonus points.  This map is all about the balance of power.  If one player is close to dominating the map, it behooves others not to stab the guy in the back that is holding the power in check.  

And secondly, players abandoning their large bonuses and using their forces to nitpick at other players who aren't the power in the game do no service to anyone but the player in power.  One of the 101s of simulplay is "create your foundation".  If your foundation (source of income) is weak or threatened, your chances of winning are nil.
