This is by no means an important issue, just wanted to notify of the found bug:

Display the my games list
Change to showing "All Games"

- Sort by "Date Created" and I get all games, sorted in reverse chronological order (good)
- Sort by "Board Name" and I get all games, sorted in reverse alphabetical order (I'd have expected A->Z not Z->A, but not really a "problem")
- Sort by "Game Name" and same results as "Board Name" (again, not expected, but not a problem really)
- Sort by "Turn Timer" and I get all games, sorted by shortest to longest turn timer, followed by all games that are complete and have no turn timer (good)

*** Sort by Message Flag and I get no games listed.  (BUG??)
I don't have any messages on any of my games, so I'm not questioning whether I should see games with flags, but I'd expect to at least see ALL the games.
Instead, I see no games at all.
And until I sort by some other column, I can't see the games again.

NOT A BIG ISSUE, so it can be put to the bottom of your list, but I saw that you were chasing some other issues about Message flags (http://www.wargear.net/forum/showthread/993) and didn't know if this issue might be related.

It doesn't sort.  It only shows games with messages.

Right, that's what I found.
Sort by turn timers, and games without will still be shown.
But sort by message flag and games without are not shown.

So the question is: is this expected behavior?

Yes.  The intention is to pull up games that have a message from whatever view you have selected.

And to hide all others, not just sort the games with messages to the top of the list, but still show all? So it functions differently than sorting by any other category?
Genuinely not trying to be obtuse just seems counter-intuitive to have 6 different sorts, 1 of which works different than all the others.

Seems to me that you all think its not as weird as I do, so as you were.

For what it's worth, I think it's pretty weird too.  Does seem less intuitive than the others, especially the inability to get out of the filter without coming back to the My Games list.  After using it for a while though I've gotten used to it and I do like that I'm able to visually see that it's sorting something, but probably could be slightly different.

meh, at the risk of pulling tom from more important (and fun) things to do; i don't think it's a 'broke' as it is (aside from the removing of the filter as the Turtle points out).

Weathertop - Understandable, and I'm fine with dropping the issue as well.  Happy hunting all.

This was actually fixed last week - it's not perfect but at least the games without messages are visible now.
