Maybe to include all maps or just the latest 10+. Could be static or could scroll horizontally.
Might give some of the lesser played and/or new maps more attention.

I like the idea of seeing latest boards and/or random boards in more places...but I like the prettier idea too :) less like an annoying advertisement taking up a chunk of the top screen...not sure I have any better ideas off the top of my head though.
