Should a player's status be shown as Booted in a Fogged game? If so then it's not.
If not then History and the Log probably shouldn't show it...although they show them differently as well.
Game: http://www.wargear.net/games/view/35590
Turn ID: 1416
Dark Blue is booted (which I kind of expected since at one time he had the bomb icon, although perhaps that should be fogged?), the History shows the Dark Blue box but Fogged as the info. The Log shows deception booted.
What's right?
Thanks!

Not sure... do you think it should be shown? I think probably not...
I think it should be shown in bothplaces in all but total fog. Since in the lower levels of fog you get to see who owns the territories next to you - you're going to know if someone gets booted and if you know it, then show it.
Seems a lot easier to show it than to not show it and try and prevent players from being able to figure it out. Amidon makes a good point, most/some players probably would be able to see that a player has been booted due to territories turning neutral.
If boots were not shown then the bomb icon should be hidden. If a player is booted then it shouldn't be reflected on their profile until game completion. All that and still if you see the player hasn't logged in for a week then you could deduce that they were booted.
There are just some things in Fog that you still show, like who's turn it is and times turns were taken (if History is enabled), boots just seems like one of those things that could probably be shown too.
I would like to be swayed to not be shown, but not too sure "complete fog" is really possible anyhow. But consistency would be good.

i'm of the thinking that boots should be shown. regardless of fog, but then that's me.
Actually I agree with WeatherTop. I can see an argument for hiding the info in total fog games, but I don't think it's necessary or needed.
Fog it- when you find a neutral that's not 3, you'll know
