This is for people who are willing to start and play a standard game of "Risk" with players that have just come to WarGear.

All you have to do is:

1) Check the Forum tab for the list of new players and write their names down 

2) Check this thread to see if anyone else has invited those players to a game already

3) Create a privite game on the standard "Risk" board,invite the new players by typing their names in the invite box.  should be a 4-5 player game, should be the extended boot timer. 

4) Post the names of the players you have just invited in this thread so there isn't overlap

5) Play the game and try to open up a conversation / answer questions. try to direct each player to the style/boot timer/board(s) they might get hooked on.

Any help would be cool. If there is a bunch of people that do this once a month that could make a huge difference.

From the game I created, in ten days, I got one decline and 5 no response so I deleted the game. Have you guys had better luck?

I invited 4 people - 1 or 2 looked like they weren't going to join after a couple of days so I went for a couple more - game filled and we just finished it. It was good stuff -

yeah you defiantly have to over invite. Ive found that with games that are 4+myself you need to invite around 12 people.

I invited about a dozen to start a game with 5 including myself.

Do you think this process should be automated? Would it work better that way?
