The game is so heavily weighted on luck, and can often result in a games where a player loses having only taken 1 turn, or sometimes zero, I think it needs some reworking.
That being said...playing 8-10 rounds of this during a lunch break with some coworkers is fun (because the multiple rounds negates the luck).
Any board where the first player to move can win without the second payer getting a turn needs some design rethinking. Particularly on a board only meant for two players
Should be a fun little board. Cramchackle has done better graphics then this, but they get the job done. Game play is unique - with abandon and revert to neutral immediately you feel like you are shifting your chips around.
However - the board calls for going all out right away and the dice will determine who wins - and quickly.
seems to depend quite a bit on luck, and the game is often decided in the first round. Nevertheless, i think it's a decent 2 player board. good idea, graphics are fine.
Limit the number of attacks to bring in more strategy or improve defending dice to let people survive more than one round. If that's done this could be a fun board.
I have played this board a few times and have noticed that the first player almost always wins. It sucks that the first player can win on their first turn with the second player never even getting a turn.
I've never played in a game of this where the first player didnt completely abuse the fact that they can win in the first round with little difficulty. It doesnt even take dice luck. If you win any more than 50% of your rolls you can easily win on the first turn. I've complained about the inherent problems in this map since it was released and it kinda makes me sick that this board is still up.
I think this board can be won by player 1 on the first round with some good dice luck, which is a huge negative. Gameplay can be fun and challenging moving around the board, but I do think I prefer the older version over the newer version. Still a decent board with intriguing gameplay!
I don't play this map much anymore but it is still one of my favorites of all time. The graphics are what they are, it's a Connect 4 game, adding in busty blondes on either side could be done to enhance the look, but why bother.
Play this, love this and then make a sandwich!
