Greetings from an Emissary of the Great Khan!
This thread will be used to share pictures/images to help illustrate advice, instructions, strategy, etc. for the "LEARN TO PLAY: Axis & Allies" match currently underway. We'll see how this goes ;-)
If you would like to learn to play the WarGear Axis & Allies scenario, please feel free to post here and we can begin planning another match. If you'd like to follow along, the match can be found here: https://www.wargear.net/games/view/81345757
Making an Attack!
This is a very cool thing you all are doing. Will check in from time to time.
As we start TURN 2, you may find it helpful to check out the Log File. This will show how each turn resolves ORDER by ORDER. In some cases, a new turn will start and I will be shocked at how the map has changed. The Log File has helped me understand how the "Order of Operations" of Order resolution leads to the results we see on the map at the start of each turn. Plus, it is fun to see how your allies AND enemies prioritize their attacks & objectives.
The Log File for Turn 1 can show us how a seemingly small U.S. force of 2 troops ended up "behind enemy lines" and took control of Kwangtung.
