I know that there are players that frequent the common area. I know that there are people very concerned about ranking and the like...

That said, is there support for the idea to block players? Has there ever been such a request?

If ranking is an issue, can a player choose to be un-ranked. Where their wins/losses do not count toward or against anything?

I ask because of the obvious, unwanted players joining games... However I offered the point about rank, because i do not care about ranking. So if there was a way to block a player, and if that meant sacrificing rank. I am ok with that.

The only un-ranked option at the moment is to play private games, which is also a way to select your opponents (they have to accept to play you), and not have to play with someone you don't want to. 

Check out the forum threads, there have been a bunch of threads with a proposal by M57 for unranked public games (which I support). 

If you become a premium member, you can block standard members from joining your games, or sending your unwanted messages.
