For team games, always try to communicate with your teammates before committing your orders. This game requires careful coordination of attacks, reinforcements, and overall strategy. The team that talks to one another will have a decided advantage over the team that doesn't!

For FFA games, try diplomacy. Setting up a temporary alliance or cease-fire over PMs or private in-game messages can give you a much-needed edge, especially if you find yourself in the middle of the map and hemmed in by enemies on all sides.
