New Scenario!
I've added a SimulGear scenario in addition to the standard versus-play game. Enjoy!
Two new scenarios added!
Slow Start -- lots of neutrals and players start on their capital, similar to the setup on ToS.
Scramble Start -- players begin the game scrambled across the six islands, and have to fight for their territory from the get-go.
Just curious. How do you check to see what the percentage dice values are? I don't seem to be able to do it from the boards page.
Hmm, good question. You may not be able to.
I've been able to if I hover over the arrow I think.
Can only see Border info of the Main board. Starting a game and visiting the Board tab in the Flash player has all Border/Rule specifics to that Scenario.

So you have to start a game to see how it works?

sorry I missed that you were talking about a SG scenario on a Turn Based board. Sorry for opening my mouth....

Unfortunately ya, there's not any way (that I know of) to get the Scenario Board IDs from the Main Board tabs which would be able to get you to the Board Info page of that Scenario (e.g. http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/1773 which is a Scenario of http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Micro+Mission ). Having links to those on the Main Board page could be a quick "fix" IMO.
I think long term would be the add each Scenario as tabs to the Board tab and be able to view borders there (same for Rules tab), and I think tom has somewhat looked into that, but has some technical stuff to it so probably put on a back-burner.

My solution would be to make it an entirely different board. From the designer's perspective this would mean copying the board etc.
Then, in the create games page, I would have a pull-down menu at the top that determines the game-type. Depending on what is chosen, the next pull-down (the one with the list of games), changes to the appropriate list of games.

Essentially that's Scenarios are, although they keep everything (Ranking/Rating) tied to a single board rather than having duplicates, also keeps from multiple entries on the Boards tab.

Well, Yes and No. If they were separate boards, you would be able to see the dice mods (percentage or standard) by looking at the stock board. But we've already established that . More importantly, the two boards would fall into separate global categories, which I think would be very appropriate. After all, SG and WG are two very different games. The only commonalities are the board graphics.
I would hope that SG stats aren't mixed in with WG stats..

They currently are.

Yikes! Tournaments too, huh? I haven't given it that much thought but my instinct is that I am not a fan of this decision. They're different games.
I guess luck stats won't have a global component.

Yep tournaments too. Different gameplays but same end goal. I think it works that they are combined, although I do think it could be cool to have the Stats break down at the TurnBased/SG level as well.
Luck would probably be calculated differently for SG.

Ya think? How could it not be?

SG is really just rolls of 100 sided dice, so that is similar to a dice of 6 with a +94 modifier . So I would think Dice Distribution could theoretically be similar (although since that stuff isn't really shown it may not matter), but how kills and "luck" is determined would be different.
Oh and people go play Total WarGear (just so we stay on subject )
