I just eliminated two players. After I eliminated the first one I was able to place 10 bonus reserves, but after I eliminated the second one the button shows 10 reserves to place but is disabled.

I expected to be able to place them immediately but can't?

Is this a bug or it is supposed to work this way?

Because that board allows 15 reserve units and does not allow you to return to unit placement after you start attacking. You will have the extra 10 units to place on your next turn. If you want to avoid that happening in the future keep 6 units in reserve when you know you're about to eliminate someone. This will force you to place your units after the elimination because you will be above the reserve unit cap with 16 units.

Ok got it. Didn't realize there is a 15 reserve limit that can affect this.
