In this game I traded cards for 5 and got 10 reinforcements but I could only place 12 units.

Is it possible to fix this? To start turn again?

On that map there are unit caps on some territories so that could be the reason...though I don't remember the caps being that low and I'm not sure which territory you're talking about

That map has reserve units, so it will let you not place all your units.  If you were trying to put them into a territory where you have already reached the max, it will not let you put them in those territories.

Since there is a reserve, you will get those units next turn to place. 

Regular territories have a max of 25

Stronghold territories have a max of 15 (see my screen shot above - you can see these tags my hovering over a territory)

i don't think the territory maxes add anything to this board and they drive me nuts.  Which is why I don't play it.  Which is too bad because it has nice graphics and a nice set-up. 

I could place them next turn indeed. I don't think I had so much units I could not placed them on a territory due to the maximum. But it's allright now. I think I will win the game now (if the other person doesn't have cards next turn)
