Been a while. What’d I miss?

I apologize for missing January.
Going to go ahead and assign the next 3 months:
Giving February to BTdubs
March went to Xrayjay Last Visit 9th Dec 2022 05:04
April went to Thingol Last Visit 22nd Aug 2022 22:06
I think February is time to revisit Lord of the Gears, simulgear style. https://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Lord+of+the+Gears" target="_blank"> https://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Lord+of+the+Gears
Great choice! I started up 5 games
Switching out Xrayjay for weathertop for March pick as Xrayjay has been MIA

For me just too much going on ;) after weathertop does this month I'm going to throw out the next three and take a roll call to see if we need to update some active statuses in the sheet
Going to go Bowling; one of the least popular boards for some reason. on my list of favorites and not been played by BRG yet.
JV - i dug thru the last couple years and pasted raw data to your spreadsheet - i'll update the wiki as soon as tom gets back to me with some answers on formatting.
Thank you. Started up up a couple
Tournament on the original board.

btw - Bowling was my first board - created in 2010. weathertop helped with the new scenarios and board images in 2017.
2017? Man, seems longer ago than that...
June pick goes to smess2 (PMed)
July pick goes to Xrayjay
August pick goes to Klaranth
Thank you for your patience
smess2 responded and will choose soon
I set up 5 games of Pirates of Pangea.
Just pinged Xrayjay
Just throwing out an idea: Should we be moving to a new board every 2 months? These days games seem to take slightly longer to fill and slightly longer to finish than they did maybe 5 years ago. So we make a pick on the 1st, create a half dozen games on that board, those games get started a few days later, and take 3-4 weeks to finish. It means for every pick, we're only playing that initial round of games that are started. Maybe if we space out the picks to 2 months (or maybe even 3), we might end up that first round of games finishing and then the we'll ask the BRG members who win those games to kick off another round of games, meaning we could get 10 or 20 games played on the board before we migrate to a new board. I'm just trying to get more people involved.
Personally - with these new boards I've never played before, I don't want to join all 5 of the first set of games that are being played, becuase I want to play the first game and get a feel for the board, and then start a second and third game a few weeks later after I know how to play it so that I can enjoy those game after getting my @$$ handed to me on the first round by the likes of MadBomber (who always seems to grasp the tactics on day 1)....or the rest of you beautiful people.

.......and then W'top pointing BTF back to the same original link that BTF wrote showing that BTF knows the answer to his own question.....
I just saw this post now (months later) and cannot believe my own stupidity. Bravo on finding the epitome of a forum educational inception moment. We're all showing our age.....
