It would be great to have a way to search the forum, so people can find answers to questions without having to scroll through all 19 pages (current total). Thanks for a great site!  

It's in the upper right corner under 'logout.  'new thread', 'search'.  Or in a thread: 'post reply' 'new thread' 'search'.

it's still not a very good search even using that. sometimes won't even find the word you're looking for that brings back that whole thread.

no worries.  Feel free to ask questions on the forums.  There is a lot to wargear that is a bit complicated or non-obvious.  Sometimes even the old timers learn about some feature that's been around for years, but they never noticed.
