The rules for Go-Geared are not that complicated. It's easy to play, but game play can be quite sophisticated; without a little instruction it's all but impossible for a first time player to beat a skilled player.

Anyone who's interested in learning how to play Go-Geared is welcome to invite me to a private game. I will be happy to not only explain the rules, but analyze positions as we go, suggest plays, and go over various tactical and strategic considerations.

Make sure you choose the 9x9 board with 8-sided dice.
