With abandon on and 3 units shouldn't I be able to attack with 3 units?

I had 3 units and the attack with 3 and the multi attack buttons were grayed out. Once I was down to 1 unit I couldn't attack at all.

Am I missing something?

I skimmed this old thread and seems like there may still be some incomplete functionality (ie a bug) around Multi-Attack and Abandon...that said I'm not sure if any Boards have accounted for this already and expect it to work as is currently, which means if it was fixed would it break some boards?

What about having 1 unit and not being allowed to attack? I have played other boards with abandon on where you can attack with one unit.

1 with abandon on you should be able to attack unless it is your last unit then you can't because you can't eliminate yourself.

Let me make it weirder.  I'm in the same game, and I did not experience this problem.  If it makes a difference, I'm using the Flash player, not the native one.

Hmm... that must be it. It was the last unit on the surface, so it would have eliminated me.

I was using the native at the time.

Yep, then both Native and Flash would prevent self elimination*

*Some boards allow "self elimination" through the use of factories, in which case the Native/Flash Players wouldn't recognize elimination through factories.
