:(  It's the end of an era.  I lived in Florida for many years and saw a lot of launches & sometimes heard sonic booms when the shuttle was returning to Earth.

worked at JSC for 5 years, and i've never been to see a live launch. went down a couple times but delays here or there prevented me from it. one time even had seats in the VIP section (with the families).
