Strange and/or cool, but I think that I am too out of the modern loop to really understand this.
It doesn't seem to actually be that similar to Risk.
yeah, after actually trying to digest it that's what i thought too.
i'm right there with you Alpha!
Good, at least I am not alone in my misunderstanding and inability to assimilate new technology. It is ironic that less than a decade ago I was on top of the innovation happening in Computer Science and wanted to devote my life to furthering its uses.

..but now I just use it to conquer the world.

I still don't have a cell phone. I think that puts me into a very rare group. (Ok - technically my wife and I share a pre-paid account, that costs us $10/year & we only use for emergencies). But I'm not technophobic. I just have to decide which aspects of technology get a share of my attention.

So which one of you gets to use it in an emergency? ..or are you joined at the hip?
haha - Actually pretty joined at the hip. We both work in the same building so we carpool into work together, although she usually is the one carrying the phone.

There are other things too, but this would have been a better post.
@Ozyman - I have a cell phone, but I perceive that I am one of the few who do not text or use web on it. Both are blocked currently and in my lifetime I have sent 5 texts and received 39. It is amazing that if you do not respond, they do not come (the same practice works with well for emails). I would lose the cell phone if I could, but it is useful for emergency (I routinely ignore calls on however). No aim/myspace/facebook/twitter ever - this is my only social activity online. Anyway, those are a few of my technological eccentricities.
*edit - sorry for the personal life story hijack, I am done.
