This board has fantastic graphics, and I love the use of capitals and hordes - the +3 "huts" provide a nice balance. I've found that different strategies must be used depending on who you are playing. It's a usually quick and always fun game.
There are a couple of things I wish were different however: It seems to me that the one way entrance to the center castle can give an edge to whoever starts in the courtyard or areas surrounding it. I also think this game can really screw someone over with the random start - I've seen in 4 player games where people start last in the turn order and they have no territories surrounding a hut, and they are just screwed - never able to get any real bonuses going.

This is a great board, beautifully done up, but it's not quite up to the top-notch mind-blowing creative-play standard that I've come to expect from Mr. Nygma. After a few go-arounds on this one it's fairly straightforward play for any board with capitals, and I found the lovely 3-d castles led me to want to go through borders behind them that don't actually exist.
Excellent use of return-from-reinforce and other concepts, and a nice place to enjoy devouring hapless newcomers.
Hint to newcomers: Ignore the hordes bonuses and you'll last a bit longer.

Very interesting board. Although I've been getting crushed on it, it's fun - and I'm getting the hang of it.

As we have all come to expect, graphics are awesome. Gameplay is fun as it incorporates almost everything you can hope for. Great board as usual from the riddler.

only one game played (and in a second), but i can already tell that this is a 10 star board. It looks absolutely fantastic! the Fog and Dual Layers are thicker than usual but it works just fine. Use of HORDES!, Castles, and the outer bonuses provides many angles to go about playing. So fun! A perfectly designed board!

I love it! Perfect! Great graphics (although maybe some potential tough spots due to the Dual layers) with a great layout. Risk and reward of the Capitals is excellent and the continents are nicely set. Nice board size and rules, not necessarily a beginners board, but not too complicated either. Just an overall fun game!
