Balanced, good gameplay, good graphics, and great use of bridges for interconnections. I'm a fan.

I thought this board was pretty good. Some interesting shaped continents and pathways. Some places were so small that it was hard to tell who was occupying them. Pretty small unit count.

3 teams of two players each made for good back-and-forth dynamics.

Not sure why there's so much hype over this board. I mean, it's fine. Makes for good games, it's balanced, but it doesn't seem to be special. Graphics are pretty weak, but they're bearable. I like the airports, they add for sure. Nice, solid, average board. Probably won't be playing many more on it though.

Bonuses expand to super bonuses. Make sure you next expansion is in the same burrow as the +5 helps a lot.

A classic board, lots of good variety in continent size, nice use of airports to open things up (but defense is good and appropriate). Is great for individual or team games. I would also say it is one of the first boards to make use of super continents... gotta get some props for that too.

fun map based on new york, large enough for big games that tend to last a bit longer. the airports make it easier to keep the game balanced.

This reminds me of growing up in NYC, except that in my NYC there is something called "The Holland Tunnel"

One of the best boards out there. Great bonus spread, and lots of way to mod the board for interesting play. Try it blind-at-once (or SimulGear, i suppose) with 4-6 players and fog. That's what I'm talking about.

Anyway you slice it though, this board is great for small groups, and can end up in some pretty epic struggles. it looks good and has some great devices like the airports and borough bonuses to keep games popping.

Mad love for this board, I've had many a fantastic game on it.
