Great board for a real time game nice and neat clean easy to understand. It works, its fun, and it looks good. just good fun. Just what I needed. Cheers A.J.
It's an attempt at a USA board, not bad, but not complete. Basic graphics and gameplay board, leaves out a few states and attempts to "round off" the board with the corner connections. A map of the U.S. is a lot tougher than one would figure, so this works...but could probably be improved.
Did you ever want to play Risk on a map of the US? Do you think Wisconsin shouldn't touch Michigan through the UP, grade-school geography be damned? Well, here's your board!
As far as a board like this goes, it's not great but also not bad. Linking the corners to each other keeps the game from being a "first to the corner" board with obvious choke points in New England, the Deep South, and so on, which actually improves playability. Continent bonuses seem reasonably fair.
Good basic board. Small number of territories and elimination bonus makes for quick games. The two-state continents in the middle of the board work well.
