I find some areas, like the bottom left corner and the blue base in the center, extremely valuable and easy to hold whereas other spots are near impossible yet offer very little even if you manage it. But that aside, the map is really dynamic. It works better than other maps with the Hordes system. Also, it's a huge map so save it for games with a lot of players.
I really don't have much to add over what Jigler said. Lots of scenarios to keep it fresh and works well with a small or large number of players. The hordes/continent bonus system is perfect for this map!
Not my favorite board, but very large and originally designed. I really appreciate the variety of scenarios, it's great. Board looks good and plays well too.
Died pretty quickly on my first game, but I had a lot of fun (immediately started a second game to see if I could do better). The way territory bonuses are set up is pretty neat, a nice twist on hordes. After more plays, I definitely enjoy this board. Great map! Win or lose, it's a lot of fun.
I love the way the board plays. With the bonuses being tied with the countries instead of the whole board it really changes the whole Hordes concept. Played right this board can be great fun.
