Board DescriptionLORDS OF GEARQUEST [See bottom of page for all unusual game elements.] It's been nearly 300 years since the plague swept across the land, reducing the works of men to a mere shadow. A new age of Kingdoms is now taking shape! LOST CITY - Long rumored to hold powers beyond the mortal plane, its location has finally been revealed. Do you dare awaken its silent sentries and call forth the ancient arcana? Can you afford not to? ARTILLERY - These magical mighty weapons of war can lob fiery death across to all points on the globe. Tempermental in construction, they require large crews to operate and oftentimes kill your own men in spectacular fashion. CAVALRY - Horses are rare in the land and good horsemen are hard to come by. Only a few areas support the fennelgrass that the mighty steeds need in order to survive. Tireless and fierce, they give your army excellent mobility. GOLDINIUM - A mixture of gold and platinum. Not all men fight for glory, it never hurts to have a larger war chest to attract capable fighters of the more mercenary bent. GRASSLANDS - These dry savannas stretch for miles across, offering little opportunity for concealment but excellent visibility. ARMADA - The Lost City was only recently discovered by the Diamond Fleet, and only 1 ship returned to tell the tale. What happened to the rest of the fleet is unknown... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This 8-bit adventure brought to you by a 2-bit player. - IRoll ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Background and Sources From wikipedia: "Lords of Conquest is a 1986 strategy video game developed by Eon Software, Inc.
