This game is really a bugger to win from the 4th position. Very bad disadvantage, but I did it for the first time. I'd recommend some weighting advantage given to late starters, or some disadvantage for going 1st or 2nd.
I totally agree with AdamN and Gimli's comments: it's not only about luck. Try to figure out the strategies that work here.
Interesting and original board, but still I quickly got bored of playing it. Too repetitive.
99% luck 1% strategy. I try to take two areas its a 50% 50% chance. If you do get it you win hands-down. If you don't get the two you still have a chance.
Still love this board.... luck is important but strategy can sometimes overcome. Interesting how many people think going 3rd or 4th is a bad thing. I prefer to go last so I can take advantage of others mistakes and bad luck. Later is absolutely better.
A lot of people I see haven't figured out some strategies for this board to help compensate for the large luck factor... great news for me, bad news for the ratings of this board.
Still, it's fast, simple. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you won't ever get any epic battles to write home about. Sorta sad if you would, but you get the point.
I hate this board. It is my least favourite board to play without question. However, I still find myself joining games. Guess it's akin to a gambling addiction!
you'll know within the first turn or two if you're going to win, which can make this board a little frustrating, as a single bad turn of rolls can ruin the whole game, but it tends to be quick, so that's not too bad.
