Board Description
A Wargear battle on a Backgammon board.
This Board has been very unpopular, so here is another version that may be more appealing. Changes in red.
Note the colors of the chips are the outlines of ther territories, not the triangle regions the chips are on.
The territories: Each territory resembles a Backgammon chip. They are in three places, from left to right they are 1) the chips on tha main board, Each row/grouping is called a stack. The chip closest to the center (horizantally) of the board is called the inner chip. 2) The two groups of 4 chips just off the main board. This is called the tray. 3) The chips next to the faces of a doubling cube.
Who attacks who and how? Each inner chip on a stack attacks all other inner chips in the direction according to the arrows up to four stacks away.The Unpopular version has artillery borders, this one does not.Each chip on the tray can attack all inner chips. These are also up to 4 stacks away.Chips in each stack also attack their neighbors in the stack.Chips on the tray also attack the doubling cube chips whose chips are the same color and vice versa.
How do the bonuses work? A bonus is given for owning an entire stack. The bonus is 1 less than the number of chips.A bouns of 5 is given for owning all the chips of the same color in one of the 4 quadrants of the board.1 unit is given for owning each of the chips on the tray.8 units is given for owning all the chips of a single color on the tray.Owning a doubling cube chip gives the bonus equal to the amount of the cube.
