You did and I won one so now I am down to two active games in the tournament, your win was calculated correctly. It will be hard for me to win the tournament if only my losses are counted. You should have gotten more points for your win.

I'm afraid that tournament is somehow messed up. There were two different sets of round 1 games started hence the scoring problems you have seen.

The easiest thing to do is to restart it. I might be able to go back and piece together how it should have been to start with but doing that in a fair way is going to be tricky as lots of the games are already in progress - I will just have to pick which games to terminate based on how the tournament database thinks the games should be running.

Let me know what you want me to do.

R1G5 should be Mongrel vs. Oatworm.

If it is just the one extra round that is effected, we could play on and thing should work out ok.  If the scoring for other rounds is busted as well then we should restart.

Must have filled fast, I never saw this one.

It would seem that things may or may not work out okay. I just beat chogyam in R2G3, but that game is scheduled in R8G5 so it wasn't counted.

I vote for a complete restart to make sure that the tournament actually plays out okay before we finish too many more games. If tom thinks that everything will play out okay from this point on with a few extra games, then I am fine with continuing. I just don't want to make tom piece together the tournament as we play.

@Seige - sorry you missed this, but there will be another and it has a great trophy that will continue on in the next tournament, thanks Tesctassa.

Yep it's the forward slashes that are causing the problem - while I fix it the easiest thing to do is have Oatwork leave then rejoin with a different team name.

Just out of curiousity, did you figure out what cause the Five Tournament to throw-up?

I suspect it was some sort of race condition - two threads starting the tournament at the same time so two sets of games were created. It's the first time that it's happened so I'm not too concerned about it.

Hahaha! 5 now!  Who else wants in?  I've got the link!  (Meaning there appears to be no checks to see if the team is full, so just add /join/War to the end of the link to join the uber team!)
