When I posted a laughing emoji's in a forum response, it showed up as only 4 question marks. Attempting to do it in a new forum post (above) to see how it shows up. I have smile, laughing, sunglasses, kiss, and looking up faces in that order above.

Second piece of information: When you quote the original text, they actually show up properly in the editor where you are writing your reply, but then when you post the second time they still show up as question marks. That suggests that it's just the forum display that is not displaying the emoji but the ascii (???) for the emoji is still accurate.

This particular thread continues to show as being unread after reading it.
Clearing cache doesn't seem to help.

I had that issue with another thread - when I clicked on "Mark all read" it took care of it.
