Hi all, I was wondering if any of you knew how turn order is assigned. I have a friend who has been assigned last turn a few games in a row in some private games and is upset about it. Is that just a coincidence? Thanks.

In almost every instance, the turn order will be randomized, with the exception of maps with default starting setup. Can you post a link to any of the games (copy the URL from any of the games)? Which map(s) does your friend tend to play?

It's probably just coincidence. Though I've noticed when you do "REMATCH" the turn order often stays the same. Probably safer to create new games.

But then even with new games you can get streaks. I once went 2nd in 2-player games nine times in a row. And another time I went 1st eight times in a row. It happens.

A few months ago Spillo created about a half dozen 1v1s on various boards and I was in a puckish mood and joined them all. I went first in every single one. That was a good day.
