At the top of the Join Game page, there's a filter bar where the user can filter out the types of games you want/don't want so that you only see a subet of those games.  Particularly, because of my play style, I always filter out anything shorter than a 3-day game.

Copy that same functionality to the top of the "open tournaments" list on the Tournaments page.  This would allow us to filter out tourneys that are single vs team tourneys, and remove tourneys that don't meet our turn time preferences.

I'd love a more robust filtering on the "Games List" on the player profile. 

I can handle looking at the 10 tournaments that are showed, but searching through the 3500 games I have played is a hassle.

Agreed, although I have played less games so it's not as bad.
