Now that we're back and grateful, we should all take a moment and share what we did during that break, just like those essays returning from summer break from our childhood. Seriously, someone should start a thread ;)
1) Flirted with productivity
2) Promptly rejected flirting
3) Rediscovered DVR
4) Got my Netflix fix
5) Tipped my servers waaaay too much while dining out, hoping to gain favor with the server gods.
I mostly prayed that Tom had not abandoned us, and realized how much wargear is a part of my life - even when I don't have time to comment in the forums much or really do much beyond take a few quick turns - it's still something I look forward to every day.
I checked the site several times a day.
I think I went to work but can't remember anything that I accomplished.
I was actually pretty productive, but that didn't stop me from checking the site several times a day

ditto...
however, i have gotten the brunt of my "shock" out of the way since work killed my access to this site.

+1 to that.
I admitted new members to the Facebook group!
1. I reintroduced myself to Factorio
2. ...nope, that's pretty much it
Lol @ this thread. Too funny.
I was fortunate enough to have a really busy week at work so it was not on my mind as much as it normally would have been.
After I typed that last sentence I couldn't believe I called having a busy week at work "fortunate" so I didn't have to think about not being able to log on to wargear during my breaks. Odd lol
I am STILL ON VACATION! My password as momzilla was rejected and all my requests for a new password have received NO RESPONSE. See my posts in Support and Site Announcements for full details. I created a new account as momzilla2 so I could get on the Forums and be heard, but so far NO RESPONSE here either. How many players are locked out like momzilla? Or is it just me?
I thought you guys were my friends, but no one even says hello...sniff...it's so lonely out here...
hello
Hi momzilla, sorry to hear about your log-in problems. Let's hope Tom is able to resolve that issue asap. As a premium member, you should get higher priority than a standard member like me
Yeah, we all hope you'll be able to come back soon momzilla
Hey momz2, just a thought....if you have made repeated attempts to reset password and have seen no response in your email, is it possible that your account is under a different email address? The password reset would be an automatic function, not like Tom has to review the list of people wanting their password reset daily. There may be a bunch of new passwords waiting for you at that forgotten email address.
Thanks so much guys for your messages! I'm still hoping to hear from Tom or someone who can get me a new password, but just hearing from you all helps so much.
Hootz, I thought maybe there was a problem with my email, but every time I requested a new password, I immediately got a message that said a new password had been sent to my hotmail address, and I've only had one hotmail address.
Anyway, Weathertop gave me an email address for Tom directly, so I'm going to try that. I've already sent detailed emails to [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] and got no response. Maybe Tom took a vacation after fixing the server problem, and who could blame him?
I feel sure that he will fix my password problem eventually. It's hard to watch momzilla getting booted in so many games, though.
In my experience, hotmail is a problematic email address to have for listservs, accounts, etc (though not as bad as earthlink or aol). You might want to consider switching to yahoo or gmail in the future
Momzilla: Have you been checking your spam folder to see if Tom's / WGW messages ended up there?
she mentioned in our convo that she's looked in spam and trash folders for missing emails.
Got it, thanks weathertop
