Okay, so your blue:
Never let the red guys take your landing pads.
Try to never attack up hill - to a stack of red guys
If you can make sure the red guy can't place armies - you'll win. (weather it's cause they have 20 on each airstrip - or because you own them)
...Take all the territories surrounding the hill?

Taking the bottom two airfields on the first turn seems to be a recipe for success.
Preventing the Japanese from placing.

Seems to make sense to me. Japan's big weakness is that they only have 3 places to place units, so if you can take one or two away from them, they have little to work with.
