I'm getting killed in the Resource game I'm in, and I'm also at my max of 10 games, but I like the board, and I'll definitely join one in the future

I didn't get into a resource game either. If you start one, send me the link and I'll join.
I would be down to join another resource game. Im getting whooped in the one I'm in now also so it's hard to say if I like it or not as of now.
Here's another resource game:
Need one more here if anyone is interested:
Abishai wrote:Hi everyone, it is time to pick a new board for September! I noticed a lot of people were not too active in the group this last month, but it was a busy month for me as well. Anyways IRsmart was randomly selected to spearhead this next month of the BRG.
Again, I'm open to anything you guys want to do. You can start a game, try out different settings, create a tournament, etc.
Hey people,
I'll have a little think about it and get back to you within a day. :)
OK guys, I have selected 'Doom's Mayan Adventures' as this months board.
It is a board that has more play options than most realise and a board that is often ignored by those who are not familair with it. Therefore I feel a good choice for this month.
I have started two new games to get us going. One is the basic gameplay:

The other is the overworld:

Curses, can't seem to join.
Never played this map...should be fun =)
This group has nothing to do with me but I'd be remiss if I didn't at least voice an objection to the promotion of anything with that fraud's name on it.
Now that's been done, carry on.
I'm way out of context on that. Anyhow, you should join asm .
IIRC, Doom was caught on ToS with a little light vote manipulation. Inviting friends to play his maps and encouraging them to review them. This was almost before my time even.

Yes, I recall that scandal. Was rather shocking at the time, and it wasn't all that "light" either. You have to keep in mind that on ToS, designers could sell boards, and so there was real $ riding on board ratings and reviews. A board at the top of the list was much more likely to be bought than one that didn't make the first page.

I don't recall what I did on TOS, but I ask players to comment on my boards after they've played them a few times, especially after I've just released the board.

mmm, I learn something new every day. Didnt know that. Must have been before my time on here.
Anyhow, it would be a shame if that would force a board to be (unfairly) evaluated the other way either. Let bygones be bygones and all that...

that was before anyone's time here. this site didn't exist when we (some of us old timers) were still playing there.

Was that before warfish? What does ToS stand for?
ToS = The other Site = warfish
Ohh, gotcha
