Salem: 3 + 1 + 3 = 7

There are several boards I love that get little play anymore -

I'll go with one that had one game last year and I created it - Escalation by Red Baron.  I don't Red at all but I wish he had stuck around to create more boards.

Escalation was surely inspired by MC Escher and his stairway perspective drawings.  A different game play for sure.  Attacking down the stairs has an advantage and upstairs is at a disadvantage.  But most territories are downstairs from somewhere.
