Since no one has mentioned it, for those that haven't used it yet, A and T stops attacking once you can no longer roll 3 dice. I guess that was not the case when U-555 opened the thread.
As far as I know, it's always been the case that T or A attacks until you can't use 3 dice
It has at least since 2012. I'm assuming U-555 wasn't intending to mean 0 units when he said 'wiped out'.
I must be a masochist because I continue to use the T function for attacking on occasion. You can see my latest use of it here:

I think the T must stand for "Try to lose" or "Terminate the game early".

Why did you start again? ;)
It's because I must be a masochist. ;)
I nearly always use T..
I figured A meant attacked with All.
T meant Attack with all and Transfer...
Will I get better dice (or at least avoid total wipe-outs) if I instead hit 3 repeatedly? Or should it give the same result?

T saves time if you know you're going to transfer everything anyway.
As for better dice, no difference there. At least none intended. But you can avoid wipeouts by stopping. If you have, say, 30 vs 20 and throw a doomed T you'll end up with 3 vs 12, but if you do 3 attacks you can stop on, say, 10 vs 14.
