Wowza!!! That's some serious lego action.

Back in the day I always preferred the castle sets, but they never had enough weapons to properly battle the invading hoards of playmobile people.  

War hammers were easy and Battleship pegs made good short swords, but spears were harder to come by, and mom made me simulate the boiling pitch. =(
